Chinmaya Arupadai Velan Yatra to Tirunindravur

Chinmaya Mission Thamaraipakkam is organising the Velan Yatra program in Tiruvallur district for the past few weeks. Yesterday (August 25th, 2018 Saturday) the venue was Tirunindravur Krishna temple. Around 100 villagers took part in the worship and collectively did archana and abhishegam to Arupadai Velan.

Swami Sakalananda ji, Full-time sevaks Arun Vishwanathan & Priya Arun addressed the gathering about Lord Muruga, His Leelas and also the need for regular satsang.

Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, the founder of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide (in 1951), consecrated Chinmaya Sarveshwara at Thamaraipakkam, Tiruvallur district in the year 1989. Since then, the center is serving the rural community through a charitable medical center and a free school named Harihara Vidyalaya.
