Dr.Kamala Chidambaram

Smt. Kamala Chidambaram is an ardent devotee of pujya Gurudev and is an active volunteer in Chinmaya Sarveshwara, Thamaraipakkam. She was organising medical camps even before the inauguration of the Ashram. Along with diagnosing the patients, she also coordinated with other fellow doctors to ensure that there are minimum 3 doctors every Sunday to see to the needs of local patients.

Apart from ACMC, amma also oversees the needs of the Sarveshwara Dhyana Nilayam. She actively participates in all temple rituals. She played a key role in the kumbhabishekam that was done in the year 2012.

Chinmaya Mission Thamaraipakkam is a unit of Chinmaya Mission founded by Pujya Swami Chinmayananda in the year 1989. The Ashram is named Chinmaya Sarveshwara.  The Ashram is serving the rural community through  A  charitable medical center ,  A free school named  Harihara Vidyalaya ,  Rural development programs under the banner  CORD  ( C hinmaya  O rganisation for  R ural  D evelopment).  Within the Ashram premises is the  Sarveshwara Dhyana Nilayam  consecrated in the year 1989.  Also there is a  Goshala  which takes care of 7 to 10 cows The Ashram has been the home for 2 Thamizh Vedanta  courses conducted  by Pujya Swami Shridharananda during the years 1992 to 1995 and 1996 to 1999. The Missionary workers who studied Vedanta in this premises include Swami Ramakrishnananda, Swami Anuttamananda, Swami Sureshananda, Swami Sakalananda, Swami Aksharananda.
