Swami Shridharananda

Swami Shridharananda is the regional head of Thamizh Nadu. Currently the spiritual mentor of Chinmaya Mission Trichy.

He studied Vedanta course at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Powai under the guidance of Pujya Swami Tejomayananda (guruji)in the year 1984.

In the year 1994, he was initiated into Sannyasa by pujya guruji.

He served Chinmaya Mission Srilanka, Ramboda in the years 2000 & 2001. A Temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman was consecrated
during this time.

Later in the years 2005 & 2006, he served Chinmaya Mission Srilanka, Colombo. During this time-period, a temple dedicated to Lord Rama was consecrated.

He has been the Acharya for two Thamizh Vedanta courses in Thamaraipakkam held during the period 1992-95 and 1996-99 respectively. The missionary workers produced under his tutelage includes Swami Aksharananda (kodaikanal), Swami Ramakrishnananda (Nagapattinam), Swami Anuttamananda (Karur), Swami Sakalananda (Mandakolathur), Swami Sureshananda (Chennai).

He has been instrumental in translating many of the works of Pujya Gurudev & Pujya Guruji into Thamizh.
