16th vilakku Puja at Chinmaya Sarveshvara went on well by His Grace and blessings. Around 400 devotees from 17 villages took part. It was a good opportunity for the ashram to highlight about Hindu Culture and tradition. All devotees left with fulfilled heart and full stomach.
Chinmaya Mission Thamaraipakkam is a unit of Chinmaya Mission founded by Pujya Swami Chinmayananda in the year 1989. The Ashram is named Chinmaya Sarveshwara. The Ashram is serving the rural community through A charitable medical center , A free school named Harihara Vidyalaya , Rural development programs under the banner CORD ( C hinmaya O rganisation for R ural D evelopment). Within the Ashram premises is the Sarveshwara Dhyana Nilayam consecrated in the year 1989. Also there is a Goshala which takes care of 7 to 10 cows The Ashram has been the home for 2 Thamizh Vedanta courses conducted by Pujya Swami Shridharananda during the years 1992 to 1995 and 1996 to 1999. The Missionary workers who studied Vedanta in this premises include Swami Ramakrishnananda, Swami Anuttamananda, Swami Sureshananda, Swami Sakalananda, Swami Aksharananda.
